Flower Care

How to care for your fresh flowers

Your flowers will last longer if they are displayed away from direct sunlight, radiators and draughts. The cooler the room, the longer the flowers will last. Remove any faded blooms to encourage new buds to open and top up with water every 2-3 days. We've provided some tips, below, for keeping your flowers in tip top condition, however if you have any questions, get in touch - we're happy to help!

Bouquets & Cut Flowers

Leave decorative packaging if desired or remove with care. Add provided flower food to a clean vase with lukewarm water. Cut the stems at an angle to remove about 2-3cm from the end. Remove any leaves which will be below the water before placing in the vase.

Aquapacks

Snip the base of the Aquapack over a sink to release the water. Leave the decorative packaging on if desired or remove with care but do not untie your flowers. Stand the bouquet in a clean vase containing lukewarm water and the provided flower food.

Arrangements & Flower Baskets

On receipt of your arrangement, add some water to the green foam Oasis but be careful not to add too much or you may create a spillage. Place the arrangement on a mat to protect the underlying surface. Top up with water every 2-3 days.

Roses

Get roses into water as soon as you can. Cut the stems at an angle and remove 2-3 cm from the end. Remove any leaves which will be below the water and place in a clean vase. Use lukewarm water and the provided flower food. Top up water regularly and keep out of direct sunlight.
